youtube plugin

Hi can anyone explain or point me in to the right direction how to use this plugin i have DM500 running nabilosat image thanks in advance

ive got the 800 m8, i just went to the menu and it was there, however there was an option to download it anyway. i dont know wether or not it is image dependant or not tho.

with the 500 you will need to have vlc running on pc, on the 500 theres a xml for the youtube plugin to edit point it to your server and jobs done

the dm800 has no need for vlc it can transcode most by its self

Downloaded this on my dm800hd Pli Jade Enigma 2 and even set up a VLC server, but no luck. It says:

could not retrieve video url for: youtube_gdata_player

Why could this be? I've followed instructions that I've found after reading around on google.

Set the host address as ":8080" without the quotes in VLC and installed with mozilla and activex plugin checked.

Ran VLC normally after that and also ran it as:

"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --intf wxwin --extraintf=http

but still no luck.
