Youtube worked in new profile but when I switched back it didn't work.
Does this mean anything,
I've read the support doc but I think it's simply your user profile that's stuffed M8. You could spend a long time digging out what is corrupt but it might be easier to just copy stuff like favourites and other files to the new profile and ditch the old one!

Hi there, I use Firefox myself and recently had the same issue I followed the advice from Firefox and set Firefox back to its original settings (without ad blocking running) and I still had the same problem, but then the Firefox guide led me to a link that provide a means to uninstall the latest flash addon (11.0 I believe) and then a link to go back to 10. something, it worked a treat for me and Ive had no more problems, hope this helps.
I don't know why but YouTube now works on Firefox and I've not done anything, woohoo.
All I did was uninstall Flash 11 and installed Flash 10 then updated it to 11, it seems that was the corrupt plug in.
