1 garth brooks

2 shes everything

3 chris le doux ( the live album)

:D :D :D

mmmmmmmmmm. Can't argue about Country Music, but Garth Brooks ???? Difficult not to get abusive on that one. I'm afraid I like my Country a bit grittier than that! :) :) :)

I have a wide taste in music.

I like to hear original sounds like Van Morrison and Mark Knopfler etc
I likes a little bit o' Rock, but without the roll (not the musical type anyway) :D

Bands like: The Who, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton & some Modern ones like The Steriophonics & James.

But one of my all time tunes was a one hit wonder, by Boston. Called "More than a felling".

Anyone else know any one hit wonders with a bit of class!

Regards :D

me i,m an O.M.D man,

human league , etc,

best though would be depech mode excellent music.

good concert in manchester shortly,

human league,
visage, etc sounds of the 80 s concert what a brilliant time fer music,
scoot:D :D ;) :p

some of u lot are showing ur age.......lol

i like mysteeq, nelly and especially the save the last dance album

Bet Scoot likes Vienna, and old bands like Kraftwerk, Garry Newman etc.

Im sat here looking at my 3 certificates from the Royal Schools of Music which I proudly obtained back in 1979 whilst in the pokey.
Try and imagine a one man band. I still have my faithful Tascam 4 track. I still have master tracks from years ago where I wrote, performed everything including 4 part harmonies and also recorded and edited everything single handed. Hard work. In parts it sounds like a 12 piece band but just me doing the lot. Anybody wants a demo Im sure I can provide. My handle Speccy has nothing to do with the music. Reckon I should call it big nob rock or something like that which personifies probably the best.

I like lots of different sorts of music (chart-music,old-music....) ....but my favourite music is "Highland" and my favourite album is from Jewel ...Pieces of You.
Favourite songs of that album:
1. Foolish games
2. morning song
( i like the song texts)

p.s. JEWEL is no Highland music

Here another song i really like...i am almost listening to it...everyday:
Title: Sound of the silence (gregorian-version)

So, what kind of person am I ???
Cheers !!!

Wowwooooo....new look!!!! Quite like it!! Takes a bit of getting used too though.....
Anyhow, me...? I'm very definitely an allsorts man, lots of 70/80's rock, electronic stuff......classical jazz...you name it I've probably got some....But In answer to CountryBoy
1) Pink Floyd
2) Riders On The Storm - Doors
3) Dark Side Of The Moon

Fav' current play is 68 Million Shades - Spring Heel Jack.....who you say???? Well, sort of Drum'n'Bass meets Jazz.

TTFN

Try and imagine a one man band
Well I tried to imagine you as a one-man band, and kept thinking of a guy in the sixties (I think), and seeing you outside the Odeon Singing and tapping your feet and flailing your elbows to a tune called “Rosie”. But I cannot for the life of me remember his name. At first I thought it was Peter Sarstedt, so I looked around and found a site with all the number one’s since the fifties (and still don’t know his name! ;( ). On looking I found that I could remember all the tunes (of number one's) from 63 to 90 with the exception of about twenty. WOW huggi m8 I must be old eh lol
But anyway speccy, I ended up imagining you like Mike Oldfield. Is that a compliment or what? . :D

So, what kind of person am I ???
I have a sneaky feeling you could maybe be a Kidnapper. LMAO. You have a taste for? …Highland music. You haven’t got our mod hidden away somewhere have you? as we seem to have lost him (Bad Computer Crash). LOL.

Nice to see Lone Gunman back with us too!

Regs :D

Erm... the one loosely connected with "Highland".

YE yer right there m8 , the lead singer has been like that for years , hes tried to top hiself about 3 times, nearly did last time.

but what a band , got the last cd about 12 mths ago , called barrel of a gun excellent.

also went to watch roger daltrey , about 3 yrs ago at the nynex in manchester doing quadraphenia the soundtrack from the movie, billy idol was also init , excellent, daltrey never seems to age .

liked alot of the stuff of the eighties, ie scooter scene, northern soul, used to sneak into wigan casino when i was 17 , old mrs woods the secratery always used to knock me back, lol, didnt look old enough,

now thats what you call a scene , wigan casino, met my wife there 21 yrs ago , and still with her now,

you dont get that for murder 21 yr sentence, eh, lol,

still saves being on my own with meals for one, an being a sad old ferker , eh lol, ilmao, nobody iin my bed when i get home, i hope !!! lol

probably listening jim reevees etc, the wife an kids keep me young, thats why i ferk about so much,

regards scootie

:D :D :D :p ;)

Thanks Diamond. Mike Oldfield is a compliment. I was the first round here to obtain Tubular Bells and wore it out in no time. (Remember the exorcist theme tune?)
I remember Rosie well but cant put a name to the artist off hand. The only one man band I can recall was Ralph Mctell, maybe same guy. He was well famed for streets of london. Similar to Ralph, I have played folk clubs (not paid) all over the land over the years. I bet some of you have probably seen me before.

probably listening jim reevees etc, the wife an kids keep me young, thats why i ferk about so much,

regards scootie
