ne1 point me in the right direction to get a xbox modded in the wakefield area please

Take it u meaning xbox1 and not 360...
loads of people use the softmod method these days for xbox1. no chipping just software based and a bit of patience..did mine this way and its a doddle....

if i use this method would i be able to install media centre as i am only wanting it to be a networked media centre ?
just another quick one ,can i use the dvd controller to control xbwmc

once its softmodded you can install xbmc.....and you can use the dvd remote to control xbmc
