isnt that just a router? or am i missing something?

its a bridge m8 .. u plug into your router and it copies the wirless signal then u remove it and then u can use anywhere in the house . ie lappys dreamboxs or xbox . its like havin 2 routers

Silly question but can you play xbox live using one of those and if not what do i need to get. Yes i have the xbox 360 lol so what do i need to go online, the wii just picks up my wireless router.

l use it on mine and its fine . also connected to my dreambox at the same time with a splitter

Many Routers these days can double as a Bridge anyway, have a look in your settings.
