writting card

could any one please point me in the right direction.im quite new to sat scene.been looking for a tutorial on writting a card (dm500s) for atmega or fun.for channels on 13e or 19e.any help would be appreciated.

You can't write cards on sat it does not work in the same way as cable.

cheers curious,its just that ive been reading on many other sat forums about the use of these cards in dreamboxs,and the use of hex files.

You still find the odd 'enthusiast' that will use 10 year old methods rather than buy modern equipment. In reality, so little is available by smartcard for such short times, that Curious has the correct answer -funcard/Atmega's arent relevant for satellite.
