It won't happen.

World cup is part of the crown jewels of tv so must be available on free to air. I know freeview is free to air but is not available everywhere until 2012 so its not free to air for me. I pay my licence fee so I am entitled to get world cup....simples.

I dont know what they are trying to do or say in that article (someone getting paid to scare monger maybe) but the way I read it, they are saying just because your tv says its HD does not mean you automatically get HD content.
