Hi Rab ive unrared the new files so whats next?Do you just copy over the wood file or do you open that up and copy over the _rpg and dsmenu file?Then where do you put the nds game file?sorry to be a pain.On the old r4 you get 5 files ,system and moonshl as folders and then 2 ds menu files 1 is a dat file and then a _ds_mshl file.All i did then was to copy over a n nds game and they just worked.I'm only trying this wood software so i can play newer games.Any help would be much appreciated
 
you just copy the _rpg folder and ds.menu file that you mentioned to the sd card.

you do not need sny other files or folders except moonshell if you want to play media.

you can create a folder called games on the sd card if you want to.
i dont bother, and just copy to root of sd card.....
 
Thanks buzzer i got the wifes r4 working.Stuck on the kids r4 sdhc
 
there more difficult, any web address on the card,
what exactly is printed on it?
 
It just says r4 then sd and under sd hc then at the bottom says revolution for ds (ndsl/nds)i think i got it from memorybits
 
how old is the card, was it bought before 2010?

extract the content and copy all the files/folders to root of sd card (format first)

theres about 8 diffrent files/folders in it lol.

No luck mate,it loads up but when i try a game like black ops it won't run,but it will on the woods one on the mrs ds.Thanks again for all your efforts:Clap:
 
try an older game m8, newer games wont play on those cards
 
Just got Hello Kitty and some older games to play.But thats better than before cos Hello Kitty wouldn't work with the last kernel on it:Clap:
 
thats the latest firmware available for your card m8, it was last updated 5 months ago.
games less than 5 months old might not work.
i will keep an eye out and give you a shout if firmware gets updated... :)
