Windows 8 Metro Games etc

My lad has just got a new laptop with windows 8 on, long story short we have both had MacBooks but my 17" died again so nicked his 15" off him as long as I got him a new laptop so £400 vs £1k was a no brainer..

Is there any way of getting free metro games? ie full versions hacked etc..
