Configuring Wi-Fi Sense

Wi-Fi Sense settings can be controlled from the Settings app. Select Network & Internet, select Wi-Fi, scroll down, and select Manage Wi-Fi Settings.

From here, you can disable Wi-Fi sense entirely if you like, and choose whether Wi-Fi Sense automatically connects you to networks shared by your contacts — by default, it does. You can also choose which types of contacts Wi-Fi Sense shares connection details with — Outlook.com, Skype, and Facebook contacts are the only options here.

Earlier this evening, Microsoft released Windows 10 Build 10162 to Insiders. This is the third Windows 10 build Microsoft has released this week. likewise 10162 installed, cant see any changes and not really encountered any bugs on stuff I use on any previous version.

Would have still like edge to allow imports from other than IE.

Though on plus side since 10158 i have had my own antivirus instsalled that was not compatible before (f-secure via virgin broadband).

For those that are having trouble downloading the updates like being stuck on 0 percent for ages

Open Task Manager / click more / Click on the Services Tab / click on the Name tab to alphabetize the list / Now scroll down to and right click on wauserv./ Select Restart and wauserv should restart; if it doesn't, click on Restart again and that should make it tell you it's running. / Give it some time between the first and second click.

First candidate of Windows 10 RTM?

A recent update on BuildFeed shows a new Windows 10 build 10176 that’s part of the th1 branch and that, according to some sources, could be the one bringing us the RTM. If this is true, build 10176 could be the very first candidate for RTM, but we should obviously expect some others before work on the final version is indeed complete.

As far as insiders are concerned, Windows 10 build 10162 might be the last version that they get before RTM, especially because Microsoft is working to make this one available for slow ring users as well. And yet, there are some signs that more builds would come, so nothing’s certain right now.

With RTM days away, Microsoft promises a new Windows 10 build, coming this week

Neowin's Senior Editor for North America, Brad Sams, was able to confirm with his sources that Microsoft is aiming to sign off on the RTM build on July 9.

But while it aims to hit RTM this Thursday, Microsoft has also confirmed that it will roll out at least one more build before the end of the week.

Microsoft may be planning to deliver the RTM build to Insiders this week, but it's not clear if it plans to deliver a further interim preview build before then - after all, last week, it rolled out three new preview builds in four days.

Windows 10 RTM to Be Ready on July 9 – Report

Once in RTM, Windows 10 will be delivered to OEMs to install the new OS on their devices and prepare for the big launch on July 29.

“We will give a build of Windows 10 to our OEM partners so they can start imaging new devices with Windows 10.

“Soon after, we will distribute a build of Windows 10 to retailers all over the world,

Windows 10 will become available for Windows insiders on July 29, but everyone else will also get it shortly after that. The release will take place in waves and computers that are fully compatible with the new OS will get it first, the company said.
