Win XP Network

Right chaps, YES! it is some ungodly hour of the night <img src="graemlins/EVIL.gif" border="0" alt="[EVIIL]" /> . But here goes:<br />Can any one enlighten me as to why the network browse function on my Win XP m/c goes slow until you get down to drive level, then it goes nice and fast...I have 100Base cards, hub, all m/c's using TCP/IP and static IP addy's. The Win ME m/c's seem fine (like it used to), when you browse the network it comes up quite quick. But the Win XP m/c is just so slow to start with...???
