Wii Disc Error

Hi, I have modded a Nintendo Wii with a Wasabi modchip. I had issues with the Wii reading games. The Wii would rcognise the disc but would not be able to play it. It goes to load up the game but makes a clicking noise and then gives me the following error. "An error has occurred. Press the Eject button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and reer to the Wii Operations Manual fr help troubleshooting." I removed the Wasabi chip and cleaned up the install but i am still having the same issue. Has anyone come across this before? Is it a problem with the DVD drive or is it to do with the attempted install? Any help would be appreciated.
