Which PSP can use external HDD?

Just seen that other thread with the guy selling the psp and the external hdd...
was wondering how i achieve this..
ie. get an external hdd to work on my psp..

i have one of the old fat psp's, which was a 1.5 original..
it now has m33-3 3.90 on it...can i use external hdd?

Think you have misunderstood mate. Hes selling that with the games on it, you cant as far as I know connect one to the psp and play the games. Just the games are stored on the hdd.

datel had a 4GB hard rive out for the PSP that covered the other side from the battery cover, in theory you could probably take it apart and use an adaptor like SSD to IDE to allow you to connect a different drive, I suppose the big question would be, do the drive electronics support anything bigger than 4GB, as this would require a change of FAT system !
