hi all
i have brought a x-box 360 and i am getting all the stuff together to have a go at updating the firmware now on the subject of burning the disks a lot of people are using pioneer recorders are these the only ones that work as i have a lg dual layer recorder would this be ok or should i go and get a pioneer one.
many thanks in advance

Well I went and got a Pioneer drive and never looked back. Every game works. Also finding I can use lots of different makes of disk. Verbatim are expensive disks so this is a good thing.

The price of Pioneer drives are little over £20 and for the best drive by far on the market a real steel.

So to answer your question, don't mess around waisting expensive DL disks buy yourself a Pioneer. I have not had a failed disk yet.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Studulike

Nothing but coasters from my NEC 4571a even with Liggy & Dee's firmware, have ordered a Pioneer 111d from SVP along with some Verbs.

Update:
Pioneer 111d and Verbs worked first time on images that failed with the NEC and Traxdata.
