Pretty much any box with a twin tuner has recording capabilities.

Yes using a feature called autotimers you can set this up for scheduled recordings similar to how series link works.

I've been using the Technomate TM Single- solid box, they offer a TM Twin OE model same spec as th more expensive duo model - boxes mentioned are Linux & Engima 2, very flexible multimedia and programmable, but if unfamiliar or don't want all bells & whistles (if inUK) Freesat Manhattan HDR-s - but you won't be getting S*y on that!
