Wet Wet Wet are reported to be back together again and planning a possible comeback.
Drummer Tommy Cunningham revealed the boys had buried the hatchet after meeting at the funeral of frontman Marti Pellow's mum in October.
He told The Sun: "It was the catalyst to get us speaking again.
"The tragedy gelled us when we saw each other for the first time in years at the funeral."
Tommy, Marti and guitarist Graeme Clark enjoyed a string of hits in the late 80s and early 90s before falling out.
Now, Cunningham said, the threesome had joined up over the Christmas period for "long discussions".
"We've all been working on our own material. But the only way it would get recorded is if the full band were back in the studio again."
He insisted he was not out to relive the band's glory days. "The last thing I want is to jump on any revival bandwagon," he said.
