THE Tartan Army are set to invade Wembley for the first time since 1999 — after the SFA confirmed they will face England next summer.
Craig Levein will take his team down south on August 14 as part of the FA’s 150th anniversary.
It will be the first time Scotland have clashed with the Auld Enemy since the Euro Championships play-offs in 1999.
Don Hutchison’s header sealed a 1-0 Wembley win, but the English won 2-1 on aggregate.
Scots boss Craig Levein said: “For any Scotland supporter, player or coach, Scotland versus England is the ultimate contest — it really is as good as it gets.
“Our match against Brazil at the Emirates Stadium last year was a tremendous spectacle and this is an even more mouth- watering prospect.”
England boss Roy Hodgson added: “This is one of the finest fixtures in international football and I know what it means to both sets of supporters.”
