way of preventing the 3.7 update?

I've found an old pace 10001b
It's been off stream for ages, but before I have a play with it, is there a way of preventing it from going to 3.7?
It's had the tb track cut in the tuner cam
I'm not even sure what fw it's at atm, just a thought during a tea break at work lol.
Might have a play over the next couple of evenings.

If its on a real old platform in may not take a new update?otherwise think you can remove simm to prevent further updates.
You need to find whats on it at the mo.

tbh, not much point !

All 3_7 does is rework the CAM slightly to enable functioning with the newer cards and fix a few bugs that were present in 3_6

Ive got a 4000 with cr1 with the aufun stil working. in a 3.7 area

lol, there's not really much point to that either !

By using cr1 you simply miss functionality thats available on later updates.

A much better option is for you to fix the funcard problem and use the proper box update

anti update mod, cr1 and the same funcard that dont work on 3.7 updated boxies.

Ive since read its down to timing on the card, but im no closer to fixing the funs then you are.

I do agree with you, and Cr1 is not on the stream any more and could easy be knocked off aswell, Im not saying ive found a fix that every one should do.Just intrested me as to why this was the case more then anything.
