Put the chip in last night m8, my copied Gran Turismo worked 1st time.

But my original games dont work anymore? Is this right? Do I just have to copy my orignals to play them now?

What to use to copy game to HDD?

hi mate ,

originals and back ups should both be playable ,

may sound daft but make sure that you have put the wires on the right points and that they are making a good connection tothe board , had that happen to me a few times on some models

i just normally use nero and just do a copy cd

if still not work after re doing it mate try the other diagram

or a google for playstaion 7502 chip wiring diagram , may come up with some other solutions

Strange how the chip plays copied games though, bust be working somehow.

I'm gonna try re-solder it tonight, the chip came with wires already attached with numbers. Are these corect or should I check them?

the wires should b numbered correctly but you can double check them to be on the safe side ,

i think i had one ps once where it played the copies and not originals , and found out it to b either a wire on wrong point on board or not contacting properly
