VU+ Solo Vu Solo Stuck on Green Light No Image on Screem

Hi

I tried to upgrade Vu Solo to Latest Vix 3.0 image and now it is stuck on green light with nothing showing on screen. It comes up with 720p/50 like it is trying to load but then blank screen.

I then installed bootloader and then re-installed image but still the same

Could someone advise and help tearing me head out

I manage to install the Vti image which boots up but cannot get vix image to install?

Confused :(
 
Looks like its a clone mate but a recent one going by the image you installed, not sure of the last version of images you can use tbh.

You need to see what version clone it is take the lid off it should say near the tuner area.
 
Spoke to the person i got from says it is an original vix release 2.04 seems to be working ok.

Is there anyway to tell if it is clone without taking lid off

Yep looks like you are correct it is a clone :(

Managed to find some clone image from the link below

VU+ Images - Solo V3.0

May come in handy for some one. Managed to install Vix 3.0 753 Build :)

Now time to mount a USB stick to run EPG and Picons and Recording.

What size would peeps recommend. Will 1 GB USB Stick be OK for EPG and Picons.

I noticed when messing about with this that box takes a long while to hard reboot after EPG has been setup on USB. Anyway round this to boot up quicker dont want to reflash and setuo again .

1 GB will will be more than enough.

Should take no to boot mate not sure what the issue is there.

Yes mate that and then select a daily time for download and the providers you need to download. Do a manual download of the epg provider to get you started.

Ill be honest never seen a version 1 patched image i could be wrong here but i suspect this could be the first clone release and back then they would of used original images from around the date of them been released.

So maybe try that a image from around the time you got the box if your the first owner.

Plenty or Version 2 & 3 images but nothing else.
