Hi all, about 4 years ago i brought a sanyo video camera from a well known shopping channel(SHOP),the camera is really good but the trouble is the battery life is terrible, you have to charge the battery for 16 hours and it only lasts 20 minutes, not knowing anything about cameras or batterys is it possible to buy a new battery that will last a good while like they should,i just thought that was average for a battery (20 mins)but having chatted to my m8 at work he says his lasts for hours............zooropa:eek:

Most shops should be able to provide you with a compatible battery mate. Argos ect.... Problem with camcorders is that you never really fully discharge the battery, you use a bit here and there, and if you need it then you charge it up even when its half charged and this kills the battery.

lol dutcho just beat ya
the battery i mentioned from argos alows you to charge it wether half life or dead and doesn't affect the life of the battery
