Other USB 1A or USB 2A

I have Anker portable external battery backup charger and on the front it has two USB ports with output 1A and output 2A on them
my question is if the device I want to charge has no instructions with it which port shall I use?
My mobile says 1A so I use that but I have other things that don`t show this information

At those sort of voltages it doesn't really matter. The device being charged should only take what it needs.

Yeah, I always use the higher output socket. The device should manage the charge current, unless its some cheap eBay tat.
