this will sound stupid but i really dont know can someone tell me how you up date a tom tom with the latest maps

You need to know what version of tom tom you are using then download the maps for that version If you tap the square at the bottom right of your tom tom it will tell you the version then tap again and it will tell you what version map you have Hope this helps

It will be tom tom v. 6 prob that you have. Most maps you can get hold of are compatible.
once you have found an updated map of the one you want just copy the map file onto your mem card. You will prob have to erase the current map file on your mem card so just back it up just in case.
