iPhone update iphone 4s jailbroken phone

will l have any problems updating my girls phone on 6.1.2 to 7 as its jailbroke ie error's
, it will not update from the phone will have to use itunes

you will need to remove the jailbreak first, i think redsn0w has that option, also you may want to wait until they jailbreak iso7

If you update you'll lose your jailbreak. As plax says, better waiting until a jailbreak is found for ios 7, then update.

U don't have to unjailbreak mate , ive just updated my ipad 2 6.1.2 straight to ios7 I did update in iTunes not OTA , and I also to prevent errors put it into Dfu mode and on my windows machine clicked shift and left click mouse found the ipsw file for my ipad and restored that way worked fine

My iphone will not update either through itunes or on the phone (keeps downloading the file then says it cannot continue).
Would the only way forward be to use redsnow to un-jailbreak?
