old news m8 but thanks anyway.... these channels are open with E1/E2 boxs also using oscamymod and gbox,regards mdt

noob question here: I suppose you mean a patch opens these channels. which one would that be?
I use to have France 2, 3, 5, O, Arte and a number of others until I had to replace my motor. since then, a scan finds the channels, with good signal quality, but no image or sound. I wonder if it is because of the software update I did to 7.47. not sure what I had before though.

That was a helpful answer,try searching in the relevant section,you may have to read a few threads etc but that's not much to do to get free TV :)
 
Is there any way of getting tf1 HD and m6 HD from 19.2 as these channels and a few others used to clear not long ago?

no m8 they dont open anymore,regards mdt
 
Thanks for the reply m8. Is tf1 HD, etc ftv in France? If they are, then will a fransat card work in a 5402.

france 2,3,5,0 tmc,tv5monde,la chaines thetres,bfm business,tv5 monde fbs,lcp,tv8 monte blanc and 20 or so more french language channels are all FTA on EUTELSAT 5WA@5WEST with a very strong signal into the uk. most of the france tntsat package on [email protected] should clear with the latest patch for your box... go to the downloadcenter and try a couple to see which is best making sure you get the correct software for your box and back up any data like channel lists,softcams,.cfg,lat/long details and do a factory re-set before and after each software update. regards mdt

if its via4 then it should work as jsc cards work from what i know... they are part of the tntsat on 19.2e and fransat on 5w... i think the tntsat has a 4 year limit but the fransat card is unlimited or 20 years or something. you can get a fransat cam and card for 99 euros or a hd stb and card for 129 euros,regards mdt
 
I can get hold of a card for around €30 but I don't know if it will work in a 5402. So to all our French members, est-ce que votre travail carte FRANSAT dans votre 5402? (I hope Google translate got that right! Lol).

REEL "CI+" set top box OR latest samsung TVs will work and open the fransat channels on 5w with the above CAM. TM5402 has CI+ on it but it is a commercial name "only".

Seems to have very good features...dont know if it has cccam capability...

To came back to previous post, TF1HD & M6HD (also w9sd) are FTA on 9e.
 
Thanks mdt, I've tried 754p (obtained somewhere else, I just got my 5 posts) to no avail. the only channel French speaking channel I get sound and image for is TMC. I am starting to wonder if there isn't something wrong with my install as I am getting 76% quality on FRANCE2 for example. not quite the string signal you suggest. also, I am not getting slovak freesat channels on astra3 at all.
