trying to jailbreak my apple tv 2

i been trying to jailbreak my apple tv 2
i used the tut from season pass to jailbreak the part im having trouble is getting nito tv and xbmx on
im using windows 7 and putty to ssh the xbmx to apple tv 2 box
been trying to get this done all day and getting now
please can someone help me out

didnt work so tried re jailbreaking it now getting error 1604 in itunes
tried 3 different usb cables still comes up the error
tried jailbreaking with the power in, error still comes up

EDIT--
just jailbroke on different computer but xbmc isnt going on still

hi mate check your host file within windows or mac and delete the apple line then save see how you get on

On Mac:

• Make sure you are logged in as administrator
• Open Finder
• Hold down COMMAND + SHIFT keys and press ‘G’
• Enter “/private/etc/” in the field and press “Go”
• Find “hosts” file in the directory
• Drag the file to your desktop
• Open it in text editor
• Remove the line that has gs.apple.com entirely or put a # at the beginning of it to comment it out
• Save the file
• Drag it back to the /private/etc/ folder
• Enter your username and password to authenticate

On Windows:

• Locate the hosts file in one of the following directories:
• Windows 95/98/Me c:windowshosts
• Windows NT/2000/XP Pro c:winntsystem32driversetchosts
• Windows XP, Vista, 7 c:windowssystem32driversetchosts
• Right click on it and choose “Open With…” then click on “Notepad”
• Remove the line that has gs.apple.com completely and save the file
