trouble updating oscam on a dm500 using commando

For the past few weeks ive had trouble updating to a newer version of oscam on the dm500 running commando 15, after downloading the latest powerpc-tuxbox-old webif etc, ftp'ing it to /var/bin/emu and changing attributes to 755 when i try to execute by typing in telnet /var/bin/emu/oscam i keep getting an error saying " error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory "

this only started happening recently, i can use oscam version 9691 but nothing newer and am currently using 8745 but getting freezing on my local,
has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have a fix for the problem.

Taken from a thread by Markievee elsewhere and response by Lraizer.

try dropping this librt in /var/lib/
just ran a test with latest svn9783-powerpc-tuxbox-old-webif-Light using C protocol and it worked ok on commando15

That sorted it alright but on the streamboard site they insist its not an oscam problem and to try a different image but I haven't changed anything in my image to prevent oscam from working so it clearly must be due to that file missing from later oscam builds?
