Tower unit

Anyone have an idea where I can pick up a tower PC unit, I need a cheep one for school course work for a fifteen year old, the one he was using has given up, I can however salvage DVD writer and other bits and bobs from it.

I have been looking at a ebay shop called ecgo.co.uk that have hundreds of cheep refurbs but I don't know them or if I can trust them with my money.? Has anyone heard of them
