hi guys - got a toshiba laptop pro l300...i got this from a mate at work who asks if i can fix it for him or tell whats wrong..anyway, no hard drive or memory, so i put in 2gb of ram..the laptop starts up and powers up fine, nothing on screen as its a black screen, no beeping noises of any kind..hooked it up to external monitor, still no display...any ideas whats wrong or cud be wrong...do i need a hard drive in their in the first place to boot up?...cant get into bios either by tapping the f2 key on start up..cheers
