toshiba dtb 2000 d*g*t*l box programing problem

HI Friends

I got myself a toshiba dtb2000 have tried various versions of kevlar to program agold card this is my first time doing this but no matter what i do it just don't seem to work

I HAVE TRIED THIS, BOX JUST SAYS INSERT SMART CARD.

EXCUSE ME FOR BEING A LITTLE VAGUE ON THIS BUT DOES THE BOX HAVE TO BE ACTIVATED BY A WORKING CARD FIRST ?

OR IS IT JUST THIS TOSH BOX ?

OR PERAPS JUST ME ?

Turn off your caps iceman.<br />Could be you. Could be the box but doubtful and No the box does not need to be activated by a working card as you put it. If you have done your goldie correctly then this in itself is a functional working card. Have you tried switching stb off before inserting goldie? Go to channel 5. Turn off. Swap original with goldie then turn back on. See if that helps.

I have tried this and still no joy I'm sure the box is ok just not sure about the hex and which to use .....

what hex have u tryed? try omega 170, download from download section <br />ok it may get ecm'd but the priorty is to get a card working them we can hopefully sort a less ecm attacked card

have u tried moding ur orig card

Sounds like you are not putting all the info onto your card.Make sure you put the pic on aswell as the hex file

I have tried to mod other card (original) with no luck not sure if you can do that ?

I am puting all info on cards both hex's etc I'm told toshy box's are a problem ?

ICE MAN,try the {dmg2}this hex was originaly written for the tosh boxs ages ago. when you programe your card make sure the code protection is off in the fuse settings otherwise it wont work, you can then put febuarys codes in through your remote control if the hex doesent have this months keys.

Hi Everyone

Still got problems with my toshiba box I have just programed a goldie with dmbg2 but I can't enter codes from remote because I don't have the remote is there another way ? is it possible to program codes with pic ? or even get my s** d*g** remote to work my toshy box ?
