tomtom 5 irish maps URGENTLY needed

my dad has a medion pda and needs irish maps, it works fine with tomtom 5

i have tried to input tomtom 6 with western europe maps but it just will not work on this system so i was wondering if anyone has a tomtom 5 irish map pretty please

you dont get Maps of Eire for tomtom

You need to get hold of Destinator 6, which does

any idea if that covers west ireland, if i remember from experience tomtom gives you dublin and thats it

it does not cover any ireland, the Irish government are charging too much for the Licence.

Very early tomtoms may have gave you Dublin, but they do not any more

I went to the Isle of Man in Dec 2006 drove off the ferry turned on my tom tom it showed me exactly where the site I wanted was only trouble was there were no roads to show me how to get to it

guys i am telling you , my partners family stay in dunfanaghy (South) and i had to drive to belfast while over there for the day, worked perfect and even to go back to hers with all roads (in the middle of f ing no where)

there is a tomtom uk and ireland system on argos for £160 that i have that does this

I work in Eire a lot, south down in county waterford, and i can assure you the latest tomtom 6 and even the old tomtom 5 had NO maps for southern ireland.

I have to use Destinator 6

EDIT:- They are now doing a map version 6.6 that covers eire
