TM800 password

Hi guys got a tm800 hd from a trader that came with a cline, but the guy has password protected it, i therefore cant update the box, update channel list or even put on epgimport. Is there anyways i can get around this, cos i know he will not give me the pass, if i can get the c line from the box somehow then i guess i can update software ans keep default password on it right?

what image is on it m8? menu / info / about

look in plugins and see if you can download 'tuxbox commander' if you can, then you will be able to completley remove the password, and enter your own

its possible though that it has the trader firendly SR image on it though, in which case, youre screwed

I presume you have tried mini web to see if you can see a few details?

Sorry been a very long time since i played with tm800 forgotten so much, the image is iQ-28/11/11. I have not tried miniweb sorry, how do i?

got into Miniweb, when i click on CCCAM file it says password?
