Timing belt cost on an 08 Astra

Hope the good members of DW can help here.

An Astra SRi 08 requires the timing belt replaced. Is £250 steep or about the average price for the replacement?

Sounds like a good price to me,presuming you will be having water pump changed at the same time?

@wiz569 not sure if the water pump was mentioned mate. Wasn't there tbh. Will ask the garage if that would be included.

Deffo make sure to get the water pump done at the same time,as if it needs replacing later they will have to remove the timing belt anyway
