this is not a rant just an observation about avast anti virus

Has anybody upgraded to avast vertion 5 ?

i was using avast AV 4 and to be honest the guys voice telling you the definitions are up to date was a little irritating after a while but flipping heck ive upgrade to version 5 and they have some dozy woman now and ive only heard her 3 times since the upgrade and that is so annoying i will have to find the tick box to stop that.....

I'm still on v4.8 pro. Tried v5 a couple of times on other units, (free) it's not for me, not yet.

would have to say it quite anoying at times but it can be disabled tho.

Im using avast 5, I know what you mean, just turn on silent/gaming mode and the bitch shuts up.
