One True Voice have split today, just six months after being formed on ITV's Popstars: The Rivals, according to The Sun.
The band's second single, 'Shakespeare's Way With Words', shifted less than 10,000 copies to chart at number ten this week.
Band member Daniel Pearce, dubbed 'The Voice', is set to initiate the split by telling the other guys he wants out.
"The placing of the single was the last straw," a friend told the newspaper. "He knows they are never going to have a fair crack of the whip so sees no point in continuing as a band. There’s no way back for them now.
"Daniel, and the rest of the lads for that matter, are very talented singers who have just been handled very, very badly. They’ve had little support from their record label, had virtually no support from their manager and everyone has had it in for them since they lost out to Girls Aloud at Christmas. There is no chance the others will continue as a four-piece."
