must be crap then!!.

Gazzaman, my girlfriend uses telewest as an isp, she pays £10 a month for unlimited use, that's when she can get on, always engaged tone, and when she does get on it drops her connection about every 20 minutes. I wouldn't recommend it.

had a leaflet from telewest's isp(blueyonder), reckoned they were ISP of the month? looks like i'm stuck with freeserve

I Had Telewest £10 when it 1st came out..on a 2nd line that was only £1 a month extra..till the put it up to £9.99 extra, so switched to the Broadband service, paid £50 month when it 1st appeared, but now its only £25 for 24/7 access, i think its a good deal.

20months of service, and have had less than 3 days without service (van drove into the cable box)....
Get Blueyonder..its very fast and very reliable now too...

blueyonder broadband are the monkeys nuts, its superb. not sure about the dial up modem but the cable modem is very good excellent for mp3 apps games and films! havent had to pay for a peice of software since i got it or a film come to think of it!

I have used blueyonder dial up for 18 months. Always connect first time/never been dropped yet.
The only time I had bother was using on board modem (piece of sh!t).

i have been using telewest broad band for 3 months .its fantastic value at £25 a month no problem 's at all.check it out .

im with the bloke above?? Blueyonder is GRRRAAAAAAAAEEEEETTTTT, being a cable connection theres no need for your 56k internal, and as a bonus, after they have inastalled your connenection for 25 a month you can split the connection!!, yes thats right, get a cable box (converter) and bobs yer uncle you 've got Cable!!! (you might have to get a cube?)
