Telephone Interferes with Wireless

Can anyone help? Have got a BT Freestyle 2200 wireless/cordless phone and every time the phone rings and is answered hey presto the wireless broadband in my household goes totally tits up.When the call is finished I switch off the router switch back on (NETGEAR) and voila all is hunky dory till the next time,ideas anyone.

Lots of wireless equiptment uses the 54ghz frequency. go in to your router and there should be a setting within the wireless to change the frequence, you can tweek it up and down a little. also change your default chanel, just remember to do the same for the wireless computers, remove them from the wireless network then pop in the settings on the wireless devices and reconnect. should fix your problem
