Sweet and sour pork

The sweet and sour pork is one of the classics of Chinese cuisine, it is usually served with basmati rice that accompanies the dish.

Serve 4

Ingredients

400 g of pork loin,
1 pepper,
1 carrot,
1 onion,
4 tablespoons ketchup,
2 tablespoons soy sauce,
1 teaspoon of sugar
100 ml red wine,
100 g pineapple juice
salt,
back pepper
vegetable oil

Method

Arrange the sliced pork loin in a bowl and pour in the red wine. and rest the meat for 20 min.
In a wok, stir-fry the onion in a little vegetable oil..
Just the onion will be golden.. colour add the carrot, cut into very small pieces and the yellow pepper cut into squares.
Saute all for about ten minutes. Drain the meat slices and let them bake in pan 5 minutes per side (keep aside the marinade).
Cut the meat into small pieces and keep aside.
In a wok, add the wine and sugar that you have kept aside from meat marinade. Do fade and add ketchup and soy sauce.
Stir the sweet and sour sauce and if you add the pineapple juice.
Now add the pieces of meat and mix everything gently.
Serve it.
