streaming with xbmc

anyone managed to stream from xbmc player on laptop to google chromecast without it glitching, mirrored through google chrome, but cant get a stable picture, got a laptop with no hdmi port and an iphone so no other way of streaming, unless I jailbrake the phone.

I was playing with primewire this morning though chrome browser and onto chromcast and my results sound similar to what your getting. Not sure chromcast is your answer but a cheap raspberry pi works well.

its weird because chromecast works perfectly with my mrs android tablet, using showbox and Netflix, I was leaning towards the issue being with the mirroring through google chrome.
