streaming music form pc to laptop

Hiya

i want to stream music from main pc to my laptop

can anyone help ?

my laptop is on vista

and pc is xp

bascially i want to create network where my main pc has all the data on it and my second pc and laptop can share evrything from it

can anyone give me some advice

I have done this myself by setting up a wireless network then enableing shared folders on all the computers and then accesing the music via the shared folders good like its not so easy as it sounds

sorri can u explain abit further where would i need to set up the wireless networks

plug a router between your main pc and modem . then set up your laptop wielessly . run network setup wizard on both and set up your music folder as shared . you will then be able to acces it on you laptop. please post here if you need detailed instructions .
