Download and install XBMC for whichever operating system you use. There are then plenty of plug-ins to do exactly what you want, but icefilms, iwatchonline and 1channel are some of the more popular ones.

For movies and series google for 'pop corn time' app so simple to use no setting up required.

Download utorrent, then google Pirate Bay proxy
The first link that comes up on google, go on that and there are several proxy sites to use to gain access to Pirate Bay!

Also forgot to mention with the proxy sites, there is never a chance of them shutting down...
