Storage, epg memory stick

Ive flashed latest version of vix on the H.S. Have formatted usb to ext4 which works, also tried fat32 and initialising which also works but getting EPG to download is a pain. It is very slow, lags and then cancels...

Is there a faster USB drive than this or is it the box?

Hi, yes I had same problem on H2S .. crossepgdownloader appears to be faulty..... I found a great image on facebook group which had rectified fault.

USB on these boxes is usb2 so usb3 will only run at usb2 speed

Ferret, to remove the stock crossepg from latest vix image, is it just a matter of ftping to box and deleting it from plugins folder or can you do it from the plugin menu from within the image?

You should be able to do it from the plugin menu.
