sourround sound q. -> 2x toslink into 1 input ?

Well bout time i paid for something,

got me last LCD from freecycle for nout so when it went kaput thought sod it ill get me a new tv and surround sound

getting me a LG42PG3000 + a dvd surround kit (not sure what one canny rememebr ) for £750 from currys

no the question i have is i want to run digital out from my dreambox 500 and my xbox 360 elite via tos link cables..

but iirc the ss system only had one digital audio input

how would i go about getting them both plugged in as i cannot fond an adaptor to suit

or dose the 360 send audio via hdmi cable ?

A quick google search suggests the 360 does carry sound over HDMI but results seem to be hit and miss depending on equipment and setup.

Anyway, if you cannot get it working properly over HDMI need a switch: toslink switch - Google Product Search
