is their any format i can get this on such as PS2 or xbox 360 my mrs loves the games, got it onto her phone but its not as good as the real mccoy? thanks in advance

A couple of options that I know of for xbox (not a PS2 guy).
Officially you can get the sonic game 'Sonic Mega Collection Plus' which contains all (i think) the originals.
Other wise if you want to (or already have) mod or softmod your xbox you can put on emulators to run games such as sonic.
