solo se

Duo 2 has and solo 2/se have different CPUs

Yes they all have difference cpu's.

The Solo2 has a broadcom 7356, the Duo2 has the broadcom 7425 and the SoloSE has the broadcom 7429.

When you look at the specs the 7429 (found in the SE) is the same as the 7425 (used in the duo2) except for the hardware transcoding (unless I read the specs wrong).

BCM7425 (Duo2) 40 nm MoCA® 2.0 Dual HD Transcoding, 3K DMIPS App, CPU, OpenGL® ES 2.0 Hybrid GW STB SoC
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

BCM7429 (SoloSE) 40 nm MoCA® 2.0 Multi-Room HD, 3K DMIPS App CPU, OpenGL® ES 2.0, HDMI Rx, SATA 3, DDR3, STB SoC
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

BCM7356 (Solo2) Dual-Tuner HD AVC Satellite Receiver
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.

Therefore what I said is correct, the SoloSE and Duo2 have the same cpu, except for the hw transcoding. The Solo2 cpu is a different generation

How much do u think they will come down in price then.
