soft mod complete now few problems

Morning Guys, i softmodded my sis's wii last night following this guide

all went well. got through to the end without any problems.
darkcorp and prii loader included too

i have a hard mod console so i have many disks to test the console on but i have a few problems....

i have tried the original disk channel to load a backup version- i just get a message sayin unable to read disk

backup disk channel wont load them either- i get an error message dvd read error 1167

i suspect that this recently purchased wii is unable to play dvd backups...

what do you guys reckon?

i have a 1tb core hd that im going to try to configure as a usb loader next just thought id check in and get your thoughts

all new black and red wii's have a difrent dvd drive which is unable to read dvd backups and i think some of the newer white ones are the same,
so if its newly purchased , chances are it wont be able to read disks.....

usb loader is far better anyway m8....
