snowy picture

hi my sky picture is snowy most of the time,then on odd acation it has a perfic picture, weather condition arnt efecting it and it was perfic till 12months were up, have tried connections there ok. any surgestions.

Hi rader, do u have $ky digital? If so then the snowy picture cannot be caused by bad reception from your dish. The digital box receives a signal and either works perfect or not at all if signal too low. Weather shouldn't affect.<br />Basically the bad picture can only be due to wires between the box and tv if a digibox.<br />Do you run tv through rf ariel lead or through scart lead? Is there a long cable or long distance between box & tv?

thanks for reply, itis digital and i use rf leads, surpose i should use scart but it was working fine.

One other possibility is the channel that your tv is tuned to for $ky may have untuned slightly? Or maybe there is other interferance, maybe chan5?<br />Solution will definately be to change lead to scart. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
