SNES emulator

Hi Guys

I am looking for a SNES emulator to stick on my PC or even my mac.

the reason is i found my old snes with a wildcard and wanted to play it recently, but can't suspect its my psu

So any links or pointers would be much appreicated.......

There's one in my downloads under "Consoles and Emulation", though I don't think you can access it with only four posts.

Go with Snes9x (latest version 1.51) and I go to 99inet to download ROMs, look for (U)[!] ROMs.

I have a disc full of roms for a modded xbox.If I copy that to my pc,would Snes9x play them.Thanks for the help.

My vote also goes to Snes9x. Best emu for SNES.

you can use ZNES emulator too.... is very good emulator!!!!

Both equally good emulators, but the Snes9x has better sound.

I agree, the Snes9x runs more smoother and sounds better.

You should have no real problems copying the SNES ROMs from yor xbox disk as unless they have been reworked into some specific format for the emulator on the xbox, the ROM images are exactly the same

ZSNES and SNES9x are about the same. Some prefer one over the other and again I agree that SNes9x does have a much nicer GUI and is better in a few things

Personal choice really, try them both and see what you think

I would agree with thescrapyard both ZSnes and SNES9x are pretty much the same.

It is very much personal choice, and which of the video filters you like the best!

I even alternate between the 2 depending on which shortcut I find first!
