Been to Rat's, have rash to prove it ;)
My modem, while connected seems to pause while loading up pages the burst back into life. You know what I mean the little flashy boxs stop and start. I am running windows me on a P3 600 with 515 mb of memory. Also just got this memory and its 133mhz and the one i took out was 100mhz will this be a problem, I filled both slots with the same speed memory. Any Ideas !

I know it can be frustrating at times waiting for pages to load. But it doesn’t look like you have any major problems m8. If you are accessing the same sites regularly, then the slow loading bit is the new stuff that’s been put there since your last visit, and when it looks like its springing into life, its probably the parts of pages that you hold in your cache, which will load up quicker.

The memory shouldn’t give you any problems either. If your mo-bo supports it, it will run at 133 otherwise it will run at the same speed as before.

Cheers m8. Always good to check these things.

I was told by the dude at the shop that I would need to access the bios and change the memory speed to suit, both dimms are now 133 mhz and not 100mhz as before will i need to change these settings and will it make a difference ?
