I'm trying to recover a f5 via null modem and usb adapter, all im getting is the screen shot attached and nothing else. Any ideas chaps or does this just take a long long long time ??

It is best to use a PC with serial connector, the USB to serial adaptors dont usually work and at best are unreliable if they do.

Yes mate I had the same problem using usb to serial adapter, so I bought a null modem cable and wola first go it flashed so if u can get your hands on a old pc thats your best bet mate

Hi thanks for the replies lads, i got the box to flash successfully but its still saying e001 no matter how many different firmwares i use any help??
